Artist DENIAL presents 'PLEASE STAND BUY' an exhibition to take place during the 5th annual Murals In The Market
art festival. This immersive exhibition consisting of a public mural work, 2D and 3D art and interactive
installations that encourages the viewer to “please stand by”. The new works are created in the
DENIALS signature subverted pop aesthetic and direct the viewers through a communicative journey of conflicting
breaks in reality. There was a time when media was not shared around the clock, the ”please stand by” pattern
was broadcasted to notify the viewer that the channel was still working. In the age of new media & unsurety,
our resting point has become a moment for sharing as validation. These installations will stimulate spectators
to circulate the messages of reassuring optimism through photo moments to be circulated on social media,
binding a broader community to the embracing energy of the MITM festival & DIY culture of the region.
